Wow, a double ding for a high pressure hose leak in the FJ80 p/s system. OEM hose is over $500 msrp and still over $400 on the CBT website. To add to the pain, the replacement on a 92 involves the removal of the radiator. Guess the return line should be done while in there. Has anyone done this repair on a 91-92? Any success with aftermarket Edelmann or Gates? Rock Auto has them for just over $100.

Another alternative may be to get one made up custom, locally. I did this for a rear AC line in a hundred series. Worked out great and much less cost. The guys at AZ Auto Air in Chandler made me a flexible line to replace the rear AC rigid line so I didn't have to take the body off to fix the AC.

One of the concerns with aftermarket is the fitment. With the hoses (hard line section) running under the radiator, over the front cross member and then back under the radiator, I'm a little apprehensive to try them. But the cost differential is enough for me to consider, if someone has used one on a 91-92 FJ80.
