What kind of GPS device/setup are you using these day? Dedicated device (like a Garmin, TomTom, etc), a tablet (iPad, Android), or something else?
Also, do you have the contact info to get the paper MVUM maps for the Ozark NF?

I'll interject my opinion in here real quick...IMO don't put too much effort into getting ahold of a paper MVUM. Unless they've changed in the last couple of years, they were oriented towards ATV use and only show a fraction of the highway vehicle legal trails in the Ozarks that are shown on the pdf MVUMs... That said, I'm electronically biased and didn't give them much of a chance...and what is shown on the paper is probably more likely to actually be passable. You should be able to call any FS office and I think they'll mail you one....or if you're passing through Russellville or Hector or wherever else there is an office stop in and pick one up.

I still want the paper maps though as a safety net/backup plan. I have them for the Ouachita NF and they help a lot. The map road names closely match the signage, which I've had issues with before from electronic maps or other non-official sources.

Josh, if you really are interested in doing this let me know cus I'm interested as well. I think this is the perfect trip to give reason to the purchase of that Land Cruiser

I'm not going to do it. Too big of a commitment for me at this time.

Yea as cool as this would be, I don't think it would be worth taking off a whole day Friday. And 240 miles seems like a challenge haha
