Im so glad this is not 80s tech or this would be moved before you were done typing...60's tech is much more lack IMO and i think it makes it much better...i heart 60's tech...long live making fun of mace, trail ride posts w/60's pics :), and tech :D

Marlin the dude for Marlin crawler drove his beat up P/U last year 65 hours one way to go GSMTR....must have been one hell of a ride.
 
Just map Quested it for me.....its 1400 miles for me one way to make it to round up .

250 miles a tank
12 fill ups
say its 60 bucks a tank
equals 720 bucks just in gas.......mmm i should start saving now.....
