overland trails in Michigan

FJ80 owner in Chi-town looking to do some off roading/camping for a long weekend this fall. Truck is lifted and has a winch. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I agree. You can get your hands on the US forest service road maps online. Look around the Baldwin area and maybe a bit south and west of there (Ocho77 territory). Nice rides. Other places worth note are around the Grayling area, The Houghton lake area (kind of the same). Drummond Island in the U.P.
