Just finished up an Ironman lift and now the drivers side axle seems to be disconnected. When I spin the wheel the upper boot just twists. What do I do?

Before I put the wheel on I tried spinning the disk and noticed the upper boot was twisting at the connection to the front diff. I don’t feel like I really forced anything but something is wrong. You mean you can spin the front driver wheel with no resistance?
sounds like you popped out the Cv joint. Or broke it. Sorry, can't help you on the fix other than searching those terms.
Any good threads on how to do this?Likely when you were working on the hub assembly trying to put in the new coilover, you separated the inner CV joint. You'll have to open up the other end of the cv joint and try to slide it back into the cup. It can pull out of the upper connection quite easily and if you overextend that axle (usually when the upper ball joint is disconnected) it can fall right out.
