So I got my orbital mounted tonight (no lines hooked up though) and spun the steering wheel. It felt pretty tough to turn at first then gets easier. The second thing is that it has no internal stop, in other words you can just turn endlessly left or right. Are these things normal?

You are turning it without the fluid lubricating it. You may not want to do that too much.

And, yes, they should not have limiters on the steering, it is not like a standard steering box.

Reactive or non reactive?

Didnt turn it much... just enough to confirm that steering shaft was turning correctly and without any hitches after modifying it. My step daughter accidently dropped it while she was holding for me while I was trying to mount it... I was just making sure there wasnt a problem due to the drop from about 3ft.

Its a load reactive Dan Foss unit (part of the kit from POS steering).

a 3' drop can't hurt an orbital, they are stupid strong :)

You're good!

Not really, it's your trucks alignment that makes it a return to center system.

Load reactive is more of a "closed loop" system. It works better with a double ended ram. Although I have never heard of it being a problem with a single ended ram.

more caster or less caster .. coz I add caster in Tencha and I'm running single ram assist . but still not came back complete to the center alone .. it require a bit of help ..

and what worry my about full hydro it's the fact that you never " feel " steering resistance, like when you hit a rock or boulder .. if your pump it's good enough you can blow your steering and front axle without notice.
