Hi all,
I'm about to order Rigid SR-Q lights for back-up light assist. They will be mounted on the rear of my roof rack and angled down. What you think? Diffused or 60 deg. flood pattern. Backing up into pitch black campsites in the woods is way beyond the capability of the stock 100 series reverse lights. I'm looking for something that will be most effective at lighting up the woods! Anyone with experience with these specific lights?
Thanks

@badlander I put a pair of cheap LED flood lights on my back bumper for backing up and campsite work. I am about to take those off and put Rigid Scene 115 deg lights on my rack facing back. The Scene lights are a little more expensive that other rigid lights but that 115 deg pattern is perfect for rear mounted lights.

Thanks jtranum,
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Rigid SR-Q back up light set which are diffused. I received them yesterday but haven't got them mounted yet. I'll try them out tonight though and report back.

Definitely diffused....sorry I'm late.

Those are a great choice.

But something to think about. when I put my Rigids in I cut them into my back bumper, because my hatch lifts up on my truck and made the roof rack lights virtually useless at night to set up.

I'll be ordering the same set shortly and plan to cut them in right below the taillights....spread the pattern a bit more.
