Hmmm... MUD wouldn't let me link to it. Wonder whats going on?

Anyhow, $2000 for a 45LV wagon in need of some love on CL.

Oh Cahill ... it's calling your name!

Oh great ... and how did I get this reputation ...

:whoops:

But really those rockers are shot. And what color was the original paint ... oh good grief. $2200 ??? Maybe, but considering is probably more desirable to grab a 45lv from the west coast. The rebuild cost ($$$ invested) will far supersede the cost of the starter vehicle. Best to start with the best vehicle you can afford.

Oh I know what it is ... I do like going into a Toyota dealership and taking up Cruisers and then popping the question to the salesperson, " I bet I got more LandCruiser's than U got ... " Get some real weird looks.

I did meet the Cruiser collector Brian Locar (sp?) at Rauch Creek and he has 39. Yeah, 39 Crusiers. Now that's an addiction.

Bob, I think that you need it. It would be a great addition, and support vehicle for the 40 and 45 pick-up. :D Just tell Lyila that you really, really need it.

Dale, have you seen Bob's garage/driveway recently? There's no room to turn around. You, my friend, have plenty of room for this beauty. I can come over and play with it too. :steer:

Dave , Bob can park it under the deck, after the old hard top is gone.

I will not have room for much of anything soon. The house is going on the market in a couple of weeks.

Dale,

Your new place in NC should have plenty of room for a Land Cruiser collection.

True, but that is still about a year our so away.

hey, if bob gets it, we can do the body shop tech day on that truck too!!!

Hey, great idea ... we could do a "club" project truck or something. Bob has storage.

:D

Thanks for all of the help. The "Tech Day" would become a "Tech Lifetme" but I'll have plenty of time once Lylia divorces me!

Back to you Cahil ...

This is the most activity this board has seen in a long time.

All thanks to you Bob for getting a new project truck. You should feel proud.:D

Great, I will schedule the tech day, Bob, what works for you :)

I need to get the 45 out of the garage before I take on another project.

I vote for Sebastien to buy the LV so he can park it in the suburbs and have a safe place to live.

Hay , Thanks for the invite . The price is not firm. I,d like to see this restored , I just have too much on my hands right now to start another project!! Some one really needs a new project Cruiser What better than an lv wagon !!!
