So this past thursday some of us discussed the idea of creating a Specialized ONSC NC Department of Transportation Licsence Plate. Some of you have seen some of the personlized plates on many of our club vehicles and we thought it would be kindof cool to have our "own" NC plate. I have posted a poll here to see what the outcome would be, I have seen conflicting requirements stating we need at least 30 commitments but at the same I have heard we need 50, we have a total of 64 active members so we potentially have the maximum requirements. Also because we our a non-profit social club, we qualify to have funds sent back into the club to promote trail maintenance (SAVE TELLICO) or whatever we choose. So guys post up your thoughts and decisions and lets see what we come up with for a total, keep in mind if you wanted you could also personlize the special plate.

NOTE: Those with weighted tags on the tow rigs, this won't apply to you as on option on your tow rigs....sorry

Shaggin!

I'm all for the plate...another point to discuss would be if the tag is available to all residents or only members (I've seen sorority tags or cop tags that have a requirement for issue).

Could end with up a bunch of brahs, but could be good for growing the club/raising funds.

The ONSC tag would have to be my 2nd favorite to this:

I'd be down for one on the 40 and one on Emma's truck.

Weighted tags on the Duramax, so, only two for me :)

 R

I can't speak for my Dad, but I'm sure I would want one and 99% sure he would too. I'll have him post up.

The Tundra has weighted tags, and I'm not giving up "FORTKNOX" on the 4Runner, but I'd definitely put one on the 40.

Id be in for one. Same cost as any of the other specialty tags right? 30 bux i believe.

and to clarify.... we get random number assignment on a specialty tag design?

I'd be down for one also

Is it $30 a year?? or one time?

I think even on specialized tags you can get it personalized but you have less letters to work with..... I might be down for one depending on the design

I've seen different prices, I think it depends on the amount extra you send to the charity... yes, it's a yearly cost, Al. You only get 4 letters on the personalized plates.

I'd be down with 3, although I do like my State parks plate, and wanted to get a Buddy Peltier Surfing Foundation plate...

Guys just so I can keep a tally and get some forms filled out upon reaching that total can you please vote at the top. I will run back through the thread in a few days to total all the posts for those wanting more than one.

A definite commitment for one here. Not sure the wife will want one on her CRV.

Design wise, I was thinking maybe we could incoporate a logo with the different series trucks and maybe some sort of Mountain to seas idea for the background, don't want to make it to chaotic though.
I will work on that in the next week or so.

I would be good for at least one, maybe 2 if i get off my 4th POC and get working on the Hooptie.

Voted, in for at least one.

i voted, i am in for one

I support the effort, but can't get a plate as I live just south of the border (maybe a mile or two at most) in SC.

I would end up with just 1 for my Yota, weighted tags etc on the others.

Yes it will be $30 per year for the specialty tag and I think you have up to 4 or 5 letters you can ALSO customize (possibly for MORE $)
