Yeah, H41 is the non-USA 4-spd. Exact same as the OE H42, but w/ a deeper first gear....CRAWL!

Looking to join you at a wrenching...

But if one isn't happening soon, I need some advice on who (mechanic/shop) to bring my 80 for some brake work. Fronts are shot (suprise!) Would this be a good time to put in the braided lines? I used to live in Apex and the folk at Apex Automotive did a good job with my wife's Subaru's brakes and tires for both. Now live in Durham and want to save a drive if possible.
Thanks for any and all your help

Welcome koncat!

Sounds like you just asked to host a HAMOM! Gather up the parts and set a date, and I'm sure some of us will be able to help.............

Question On My New 60?

I Wanted To Know When You Guys Are Meeting Up Again? I Would Like To Drive The Old 60 To Get Some Insite On What I Need To Do This Rig? It Seams To Run Great Because I Drove It From Fl last week. The Guy I Bought If From Just Drove It To Fl From Ca Four Months Ago. Rust Free Clean Truck All The Way Around 128,000 Org Miles. I Think The Rear Main Is Leaking Just A Bit. I Need To Take It In To Have It Looked At. I Wanna Make Sure Everything Else Is Very Sound With No Leaks. Its Not My Everyday Driver (2001 4 Runner) But I Don't Want It Too Leak Any Fluids. Anyway... Would Like To Meet Up Some Time If You Guys Are Gonna Be Doing A Repair I'll Have My Buddys From High Point Bring Their Trucks As Well (80, 60). We Would Like To Help Or Even Host. We Like Beer And Grilling Too!
