Regina and I volunteered to take on the task of hosting the annual Christmas party. Clint and Stacey have done an amazing job and we hope to continue their legacy.

But, what day? ONSC Dec event at URE first weekend of Dec, so no go then. Next best day is the next weekend, Dec 11th.

Save the date: December 11th for the ONSC Annual Christmas Party

Dinner ~7:30p, drinks and hors d'eouvers 6:00p

Regina and I will prepare a couple turkeys w/stuffing, pick up a big Honeybaked ham and provide deserts (Brianna has developed quite a talent as a baker), we would like to ask for help with side dishes and appetizers.

Please post up what you could bring to share.

We will have some adult beverages but please bring your own favorite to ensure we have enough.

Lastly, for the UFC fighting fans, there will be a fight on starting at 10p. I'm a big fan and the fight will be playing somewhere in the house.

We will have a round of "Dirty Santa", please keep gifts $10-20 range.

We talked about funding and what we would propose is to have a donation basket that will be collected and donated as a club to a worthy organization as determined by the club BOD that night.

Please post up if you are coming and how many in your party. We plan on taking advantage of the Thanksgiving turkey deals so please post up.

Jerry and Family - 4 - turkey, ham, stuffing, gravy, cranberry, mashed potatoes, green salad, desserts
Brian and Family - 3 - sweet potato casserole
Allen and Erica -2
Joe and Susana - 2 - bread & rolls
Eric and family - 4 - bringing potato casserole
Clint and family - 4
Adam - 2 - bringing Mac & cheese
Jon & Steph - 2 - green bean casserole
Ramon and Emma - 2 - side dish surprise
Al and Andrea - 2 - appetizers

Please remember to bring your fav beverages. We will have some soft drinks, tea, coffee, milk.

If you have a room for out of town visitors, please post up also and I'll add it to this post.

Thanks...

Jerry, over the years I learned one thing.....just set a date and those that can make it will.

If you leave it December 11th then let me know and I will make this thread a sticky...

Thanks for volunteering Jerry. Looking forward to it! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out.

Can we have a list of people who can offer rooms and a bed for us lowly out of towners :grinpimp:

I already know where mine is...... I'm sure Lily won't mind getting kicked out of her room again:D

Erica and I will be there!

Myself and wife will be there. Where is they fiesta being held?

Thanks
adam

My address is published in every edition of Toyota Trails (clearly didn't think that through with all the spam, phone solicitations and "real" mail it generates.

103 Rosaler Ct, Cary nc - Google Maps

For those offering help, once Regina gets home from her 2 week business trip, we will have some time to put the plan together. Then, we can start the dinner planning and see where we will need help. And, to further complicate things, I committed to helping at a Lacrosse Camp in Charlotte this weekend way back in Aug. Clearly, I didn't think things through since I'll be spending 14 hours on a lacrosse field Sat instead of on the sofa watching a football game...

beer saturday night??

Sounds good. My problem is that the last game starts at 8pm and I'm not sure when I'll be done, after 9:30 in all probability. Its at Queen's Sports Complex on Tyvola Rd and I'm staying just up the road at the Hilton Executive Park near the "gentlemen's club" (I didn't plan that, really)...

Right where I used to live :grinpimp:

For those not wanting to drive all the way from CLT - we have an upstairs suite available (queen size bed, full bath and office, etc).

Friday or Saturday night...
