Saw this video last week, and I admit my thoughts were "Hmm, usually the dog follows the rider, but this dog is leading!" I hope to get a dog this year and will be taking him/her riding with me.

In the very first recorded mountain bike race results, on Repack trail, Oct 26, 1976, there are results for 7 riders and 2 of their dogs.
