Ok,

So I have seen at least one guy w/350 mount his york on the DS so he didn't screw his dual battery setup, but can this be done w/a 2F?

I would like to set up a 2F w/PS, York OBA(located on DS), and still leave room for a dual Battery setup on PS.

Is this possible?

I've got York OBA w/ alternator on the PS with plenty of room for dual batteries. (which is happening in a month or two when I get my winch).
The trick is to mount the manifold and shiznit off the york itself. I have done this three different ways. Two half assed using scrap metal for a bracket and home depot Tee's and manifolds, and am in the process of the finished version.
It utilizes a two-zone manifold system (hi and lo pressure), I made custom manifolds using hexagonal stock aluminum, and a bracket out of 1/8"x3" aluminum bar. It mounts off the york itself, is out of the way, and removed with two bolts if I need to get to something behind it.

There is room to sandwich the York between the alt and the head, used to have a 40 with this on there, there was a York DS mounting back in 76 that was a dealer air add on. Rick De Lisle had it on his til he swapped over to the 350, however if you have or want PS it gets tight quick on that side.
Explain your tag line, where in Tx are ya moving?
We need a few more quality members.

Do you really need to mount the York on the drivers side? You can keep your dual batteries and still have your York mounted on the passenger side. There is room. It is a tight fit but I have dual batteries, dual alternators, a York and a shower heat exchanger all on the passenger side. I re-drilled the mounting holes for the battery box to shift it back towards the firewall then moved the radiator overflow bottle an inch forward and it left enough room for the York and both alternators.
My saginaw pump is mounted on the drivers side and Kalifornia smog laws require that I keep my smog pump and air lines so there was no room for a York on the drivers side.
