OME torsion bars longer than stock?

My brother and I put in the lift on my hundy this past weekend. We had an issue with the torsion bars not fitting. So we stood the new OME bars next to the stock ones and they were few inches longer. Called the company who sold them and they said that was what was given for my year and engine type. But they just WOULDN'T go in.

Any ideas?

Check the part number. The t-bars for the turbo diesel are longer.

The box they came in was pretty beat up. Makes sense considering they came from Australia.

When I measured the OME ones, they measured 47" and some change. The guy from the company said the ones for the diesel were even longer than that. I'm going to check with a shop here in town and see if they have any similar experience with this...

The part numbers should be printed right on the bars, red and blue.
