Ok all you veterans out there. I bought my son an OME lift kit for his 62.

Would someone provide a good link to view the install for this kit?

I've googled till I'm cross eyed.

Thanks

CD

well, i got the deluxe kit, and the description claims that they come with two extended sway bar links, i got everything except them. u-bolts, shocks, dampener, shackles, pins, the whole nine yards. i might run into a problem here, because one of the links is floating in the sway bar, broke, and now just kind of sits there, and i got extended shackles ontop of all that

Where or who did you get them kit from?

thanks for all the help guys, but i still have one question that is left unanswered. on MAF they say that the deluxe kit come with two sway bar links. i however, do not have them...why not?

oh... i got the kit from Iron Pig Off Road

MAF's deluxe kit is not the same as CruiserOutfitters' deluxe is not the same as Iron Pigs...etc.

From what I understand, OME doesn't package the kits, they just supply the parts and the vendors piece together the kits based on what you want to accomplish with the kit.

You might have to buy the extensions from MAF if you can't find the equivalent locally.

If you want to get rid of the rear sway bar and hardware...let me know I would be interested.

I have an extra set of extended links if your interested just pm me. i got two sets by mistake when i lifted my 60. they should be the same for the 62. I am a fan of the sway bar. in my opinion it serves a great purpose for on road driving. i am not a crazy offroad guy but it never has hampered me yet on the trail

FWIW the stock sway bars do not hinder articulation much at all IMHO
