Finished up the lift Monday, tires showed up Tuesday, and they went on today! Up front are OME t bars and in the rear I went with 865's and a 10mm trim packer on each side. SHAGGY101's 10mm wheel spacers up front are keeping the rubbing to a minimum but I had to trim the liners a little and gave the turn stops 2 turns.

I have the Toyo MT's on my 4Runner and have 80,000 aggressive miles on them so I thought I would get a set for the hundy. But I liked the look of the new AT II's and decided to go with them. I have to say they look better than expected. The bigger sizes come in "extreme" fashion. 3 Ply with a more aggressive sidewall than the smaller sizes I believe.

I never considered anything smaller than a 35 because I had 35's on my old '91 SAS'd 4Runner and it looked great so I knew the 315's would look great on the big hundy.

A many many thanks to all the posters on mud! Especially whoever sugguested the 22mm Gear Wrench!

Awesome! I thought hard about the 315's, went with 295/75/16 instead. Hadn't regretted it until seeing your ride.

Thumbs up!

Thanks everyone! I love the way it turned out. The ride is good and it finally looks like a proper Land Cruiser

No, well not including the mounds of snow by the driveway. I want to find out how they perform in the snow but I am not complaining about the lack of it right now. Once I get a chance to test them out in the snow I will post up a review. Knowing this place, we aren't done with the snow this season...

They perform well in the snow and even more so if you have them siped.

The AT2's have lots of siping already unlike the MT's.

Thanks farinvail. No gears or lockers right for now but they are on the list. With lots of other things of course.

How are they for road noise???

The 315 75 16 AT II's are a little louder than the 285 75 16 Duratracs they replaced, but a little smoother roll (they seem rounder). Both are louder than the 305 Nitto Terragrapplers.

They look real nice on the hundy.

Good choice.

Those tires are sweet. Question for the OP, or anyone in the know, Do they run true to size? Are these true 35"s, real world, tape measured?

I plan to get a set for my FJ Cruiser, and prefer if they ran a bit smaller. I can go safe with 285/75/16s, but want more diameter. If they run true to size, I will have to pass. My buddy with 315 MTR Kevlars run true to size, and they tore apart his fenders.

Thanks in advance!

I've never put a tape to them but they are a small 35 measuring 34.5 from the Toyo website.
