Anyone running the OME 865 coil spring with a coil spacer? I see a number of different spacers available from 30MM, 15MM, 10MM, Mr. Gasket 1" spacers, etc... Is 30MM too much for these springs? I am considering keeping my front TBars on until I have more weight up front (stock right now) as well and have not ordered shocks yet either... Opinions appreciated

Simply tape on (this will keep them in place during install) 2 each 10mm OME Trim Packs atop each rear spring. Put them back in and you're done until you want to change them. They won't go anywhere and will last for years. That'll net almost 3-inches lift and you can run 315's that way as well.

^^^ This is how I ran my 865s until they couldn't keep up with the weight I added ;). Worked fine.

Well rather than order two sets of 10mm trim packs I was considering the 15mm or 30mm set so I only have to put one spacer per spring... I didn't think there would be that much difference in running a 30mm spacer on top of the 865... If 30mm is too much I think I'll just order the 15mm spacers... Opinions??? Anyone know of 20mm spacers without buying 4 10mm spacers and stacking them? Anyone running the 30mm + 865 setup right now? Any negatives in this setup?

In THIS case there's no reason to demand one over two spacers. Either way they fit and will stay there. 30mm seems a bit tall. 20mm just right...about 3" lift. 15mm...a little low. You're the boss though. If you go with 30mm plan on lifting that front to the 2.75" max or the rake will be there.

Don't know what you have for aftermarket equipment but the 865 worked very well for me with just the Slee rear bumper and tire carrier and 33"'s with 10 or 20mm per side. It was only after adding the heavy AO steel drawers and contents and going to 35" about the same time that I needed more spring rate and height.

10mm increments might give you more options.

bringing up an old thread again, any pictures of a stock 100 with 865 in rear with 15mm, two 10 mm or 30 mm spacers in rear?
I already have a pretty bad rake but i am nervous to crank the tbars with out buying the diff drop kit....

865s with 30 mm. Slee rear but no tire carrier. TBars cranked but not maxed.

^ Nice! I ran my 100 the same way until migrating to OME 863's which I installed at the same time as my BIO rear bumper. Great setup with no / minimal weight in the back... Looks good!
