So i just got the 860's in and they actually looked slightly smaller than the stock springs when put side by side....a little weird. I am hoping that the higher spring rate really lets the truck ride higher. I was expecting the spring to actually be longer compared to stock unloaded. Am I crazy to be worried that these springs arent going to give me the 2.5" they are supposed to. It just doesn't look right..........

The stock springs may be taller but they will compress a lot more when under load/weight. When the 860's are installed they will not compress like the stock springs will. Nothing to worry about.

It is. Don't worry. It was a quiet moment when I unboxed my 866's (2") and they were shorter than my OEM springs. I think the stock springs are so soft they had to make them 4 feet tall

They'll be more like 3" of lift when you first get them on.

Yeah I was being super paranoid. On to the diff drop and t bars
