I wanted to put the stock/medium height OME lift on my rig for this trip to Breckinridge and discovered the 2702 front springs are on national back order. The local shop that ordered everything for me decided to grab a set of 2703 (heavy springs) to get me started until the 2702s come in. I think the specs say they are rated for another 160 lbs, which doesn't sound like much, but Slee lists them as the heavy springs.
I think I know the answer but does anyone have any experience with these springs on the front of a 200 without a winch and bumper? Is it going to be way too stiff? Would I even be able to get the alignment back into spec? I don't mind trying it out but am not really in the mood nor do I have the time to put it all back to stock and do multiple alignments as I'm getting ready to do a 5k mile road trip next week.
