Older Kaymar bumper stop latch

Hello,

I have on older style kaymar rear bumper that came on my 70, it was missing the pin that locks it in the open position. I want to fabricate a replacement, was wondering if anyone has a picture of how it is supposed to work.

Thanks, I get it now, I was thinking something was supposed to catch the hole but it actually swings down and catches the end of the tab. So what is the hole there for?

I cant remember, I hardly ever use it. Ill have a look later when the sun comes up.
