Installing the front diff drop and adjusting the rake is exactly what the TX Cruiser Man just recommended.

Thanks for your help!

Until you get the rake right, you won't know if the OME springs are the/a cause of the rough ride. We put IronMan springs, TBs, shocks, and SPC uppers control arms in my '06 and it rode like crap. Then, we dialed the front down and it was like butter.

The challenge you've got is that 4WP is really good and really knows their stuff... as long as it's a Jeep, Dodge, Ford... So, you're going to tell them "The guys online said... " and they're going to stop listening.

I would do two things:
1. Have a dif' drop installed - they're not expensive
2. Dial the rake down

Then assess the ride on your way to have the alignment sorted out... again.

It'd be easy to say you went to the wrong shop. But, the guys at 4WP should be busy enough putting lift blocks and 20" wheels on full size trucks to be honest enough to send you to a shop better equipped to work on a Land Cruiser.
The differential drop kit and dialing down the rake 3/16 of an inch made a huge improvement. Unfortunately, not having the diff drop kit ruined the axles so between installing the kit and replacing the axles, I was out another $2500. Trying to reconcile the issues with 4WP now....will revert with how that goes.

Thank you all for your help.

How were the axles ruined? The CV's should tolerate these angles but the boots may tear or the clamps allow grease to seep out. But they can be rebooted and packed for not much more than the cost of labor (rebuild kit about $100 + labor).

Not sure. The axles were making a clicking / tapping noise and the LC expert said it was triggered by the suspension issues.

The axles will essentially get used to the factory angle and live a long happy life... until a lift. As soon as they are put into a different operating range, they sometimes "fail". It's possible this would've happened with the dif drop... just a lot less likely.

Understood on the bedding of the CVs, just unusual to me that after the diff drop nearly 1.5" and dropping the suspension down another 3/8 that they wouldn't be back into mostly spec. The $2500 is also a surprise as the OEM CV's are $450 a pop and the labor isn't bad; particularly on a lift.

How are 2 axles $2500. Man, I feel like you are getting taken advantage of on several fronts. I hate to see that.

I'm going to assume they charged you msrp for the axles and diff drop, so you probably paid about 7-800 labor. I hope they gave you a 1 year warranty on the oem axles, if they did, you better inspect them for any leaks every few months until the 1 year warranty is almost gone. And hopefully they replaced the axle seals, hub flange and hug flange gasket.
