Old leaky masters and slaves

Do you guys toss your old brake masters?

I’m buying a new one for way too much but years ago I bought a new cup plunger kit and rebuilt the one in my 42. Even if extremely worn/rusted they could be honed I’m sure and new plungers fitted even sleeved and be quite good for a lot more years. I seem to remember hearing that the rebuild kits were no longer available from Toyota though.

Seems to work best if I slam dunk them into the metal bin as hard as I can while shouting **** you.


Like the dab of yellow grease paint, or the stern finger point with a white glove if you're a Toyota tech.

Gives it that feeling of completion.
