Awesome Time!

MY WIFE AND THE BOYS AND I HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE MEETING. LOTS OF KILLER RIGS AND GOOD PEOPLE. WE PLAN ON BEING AROUND FOR A LONG TIME, CRUISER ADDICTS! HOPE TO COME TO AS MANY FUNCTIONS AS WE CAN.

GOODAY,
PINCKARDS

I had a guy call me and ask if I would sell my 45. My original answer was no it was not for sale. He offered a huge amont of money for it and I told him that I would probably sell it for that amount. He is away on vacation until the 10th of July , but said he would see me on the 11th with a cashiers check. Who knows......He lives in Vail so he can afford it. I'll keep you posted.

I was talking to a good friend about this just yesterday. It's something I've been thinkin on for a while, and this ain't directed at no one person....

but....

I don't understand some of yall folks that build up/pay to have built up/dump money into these rigs, then turn around and sell them off shortly after. Is it done as an investment? Boredom? Doesn't seem to be a situation of "short on funds, need to sell ASAP", in some instances.

Maybe it's because I have enough trouble (money) just getting my one truck built up the way I like it. I couldn't imagine selling it. Ever.

Maybe it ain't much none of my business. Just deep thoughts from a shallow mind, I suppose.

I'm with you Jason! I could have never sold that 45. Mine isn't for sale either although Coberly said at the round-up that my truck would be his in the future. My wife would kill me if I sold it.

I can comment on Gary's deal, don't know any others you would be philosophizing about....
Gary has the time and talent to build a better one, and the chance to more than double his money on this deal....
I doubt if any of us would turn this chance down.

You beat me to it Butch.

I am not in the habit of building and selling, but this was an offer I could not refuse. I love that truck, but I cannot turn down the chance to actually make a huge profit. I have an idea for a better one now also. One that can take some air as well....

I found out something very interesting after my build. I truely enjoyed the process of learning and creating more than driving. Don't get me wrong - Wheeling is a Blast! But I realized that I can very easily create another one. The next one will be better due to what was learned on ther previous one. Just my .02

I am w/ both parts selling it and not.

when there's a sentimental feeling to something that you created/built or refurbished, it hurts. It hurts for all the efforts, time and money that was put in it.

I did a lot of work myself on my 40 while I was an employed, believe me, I did more back then than now that I have a better job than the one I lost.

The 40 it's a piece a crap, but the sentimental value it's not compare to the money that I can get for it if were to sell it now, and yes Nolen still leaks oil from the t-case.(sucks).
I am going to put a 265/205

if the price it's right, I don't see why not sell it.

Good luck!

Gary
