oil pump and timing belt service

I'm getting ready to do my 180k service (2000 lc) and I noticed that the write-ups only change the water pump. Why not the oil pump too? Also when ordering parts I ordered the oil pump gear set instead of the whole pump assembly . Does anyone have a pic of the oil pump (back side)? Can I change the gear set without a special service tool or should I return for the whole pump?

I also have not heard of anybody doing an oil pump here.

I just did my timing, water pump, etc this spring.

thanks for the offer! I struggled with the disassembly, a couple broken bolts, and found that I was sent 2 left tensioner pullies . So now I'm in hot stand-by waiting for the fedex guy.
