What are typical oil pressure guage readings? I have 2 100 series both read similar but the 03 ranges typically lower (L to just above 1/4 mark). What would be an alarming range.

That's certainly within spec at idle. Under load the needle should sit right in the middle.
Zero. It's more of a pass/fail device than a pressure gauge.
As long as the needle moves up with RPM I'd say things are fine. I'd gladly swap out the oil pressure gauge for a trans temp gauge.
