Oil leak

The attached pic is taken from the FSM with pointers to my problem area. I'm hoping to source a gasket without ordering the gasket set shown in lower right (would someone confirm this is the gasket for me?).

Can this gasket be had independent of the complete set?

Or, will RTV hold a seal in this location?

EDIT: Okay, so I will take special care in torquing to spec (I'll have to look that one up). Anyone else want to chime in on methods to ensure a good seal?

Mine was Toyota part #11253-60010. Valve lifter cover gasket.

There's a whole section in the FAQ about oil pan gaskets that also has some tips for installing this as well.

I bought a side cover gasket [cork] from local dlr. Cleaned surfaces VERY well bare metal , prepped and straightened cover put it all back - still leaks. Next time it will be two surfaces of RV/gasket maker partially dried and mated ??
