Ok team... I'm getting my boots wet.. Have an oil leak and time to change the timing belt on a 1kz-te. Oil is everywhere over the bottom and right side (alternator side) of the engine. My guess is crankshaft seals. Anyone know these engines? Is there another seal behind the timing cover that could be leaking? I'm a backyard mechanic learning as I go. Got two good guides for replacing the timing belt. What dangers do I need to look out for here?

I am having the same issue on mine and suspect as you do that it is the front crank seal.
