Ok so today i attempted to check and top up my gearbox oil in my 3F FJ70. Long story short I ended up putting about 300ml of oil in to my clutch housing through the hole in the front of the housing (unbelievably stupid i know....). I havent started the engine or touched anything since i realised what i had done. I undid the nut at the bottom of the housing and a bit of oil drained out.

What should my next step be? I am assuming I have screwed my clutch or is it salvageable? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It should be ok. The centrifugal forces will spin it off and the heat will burn anything on the clutch disc itself. My FJ73 had a plate at the bottom of the bell housing that was removeable ,you would be able to get a cloth in there i think and wipe some of the oil off.
I had a rear main oil seal leaking in there for years and it was never a problem.
