How strong do oil cooler lines need to be?
I replaced the existing SAE 100R8 1/2" rubber oil cooler lines with a same spec "lightweight hydraulic hose" 2000 psi, the inner part is nylon. It was hard to work by hand and I'm not happy with the barb connections I managed to wrestle on.

There's probably a hose stretching tool I should have used, and the inner material did not help me. But I'm also wondering if the hose was over spec'd.
