For sale: 2002 LX 470 97k miles
First owner - garage kept, and serviced with the same mechanic since new.
The truck has been garage kept and my daily driver since I purchased it with 45k
Right after I purchased the truck I took it to the same mechanic that had maintained the truck since new. He performed a full fluid baseline including AHC system, Transmission, Coolant, and Gear Oils. He also completed the Timing belt, water pump, etc.
I have done selective updates to keep the truck as stock as possible while still looking like a million dollars.
Fully completed the Navigation dash conversion to bring the technology up to modern new car standards:
Donor 96 dash, Apple Car play, full stereo & speaker replacement. Full dynamat treatment including doors, and usb charging ports in the front and back.
Replaced and painted all calipers & brake pads.
Powder coated stock wheels and new BF Goodrich Tires
Front 25% of the underbody, scraped, sanded, and treated with rust bullet. Plans & supplies to continue the project.
CV axle boots cracked at 90k. Instead of rebuilding, I replaced both with OEM.
The muffler finally developed a leak & I wanted to try a muffler that would give me a little more aggressive sound, so had it put in place of the stock muffler. Really like the slightly throaty note, but nothing intrusive.
It has always been my policy to replace everything I remove when doing service whenever possible.
You will be buying a nearly fully sorted and just as important, updated LX.
The stereo is wired for two subs in the back. I was intending to install a rear tray system with two built in subs.
I have performed most of the maintenance myself, but have documentation. I also verified the service history with the mechanic before purchasing from the previous owner.
I would love someone on the forum who appreciates the platform & updates to be her next caretaker.
