Furthermore ... it'd be MOST excellent news if'n the wifey and them daughters was comin'. :grinpimp: :flamingo:

Thats funny..... .........just think Chris, Kowboy becomes a member of the family & you never pay dues again:D

Yep..... Hey Kowboy, she's 18 now too... You can have her!

Got some more good news too.... Today we went snow wheeling and I dropped a cylinder in my 2f..... #5 hole has ZERO compression and a burnt/chipped (?) intake valve.... This means Ill be pulling the head to get it ready for the roundup..... Goody goody goody!!

... I dropped a cylinder in my 2f ...

Time for some cypherin' sir ...

I'm good at cypherin'.

Droppin' a cylinder outta your 6-cylinder FOR-in motor represents a 16.67% loss of power.

Now if'n you had yourself a gen-u-ine, American-made, 8-cylinder, small-block Chevy powerplant and dropped a cylinder ... you'd only be lookin' at a 12.5% reduction of power. :D

Yet another reason I just ain't much on that FOR-in stuff. :grinpimp:

If you're game to drive and the 40 ain't ready, just swing by my place and you can pick up both me and my 40.;)

I usually drive down Tuesday evenin' and sleep in the truck at the turnoff to the park ... so that I'm the first one in the gate on Wednesday mornin'. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

So when is the official day that they open?

Some how I was under the impression that the first day would be Thursday March 15th.

Plans are to take off Wednesday nite and be there early Thursday morning

Them plans'll work just fine JP.

The park opens on Wednesday just for settin' up camp and drinkin' ... ain't no wheelin' allowed.

The wheelin' ... and more drinkin' ... starts on Thursday. :D

Guess I am Ok then!

already signed up sending and fees today.

My cruisers don't look in good shape. I am referring to my 40's.

I started with the Buggie project and it's going kind of slow. started building a cage for it, but time does not permit doing much. I know now the engine works. It needs a carb rebuilding kit. which it's on the works already.

part of the body was cut out , well more like the swiss cheese panels.

I wanted to do a SOA & a Power steering conversion but seroiusly, I doubt I have time for all of that. I just want to finish the cage put the seats and gas tank back. get it running slap the 35's or 37's and be done with it for round up.

Oh I am also waiting for a hood and Bib. I want to make that puppie look a little nicer.

Need a paint job too.

I wonder what color could that cruiser be painted?

Right now it's camoflage but it really doesn't do it for me.

any Suggestions?

The other 40 w/ a V8 needs to be fix from an oil leak and build a better t-case carrier then AA plate cross member.

If buggie not done I will have to take the other.

keep you posted!

Shoot me an e-mail addy sir and I can sure take care of that.

I'll just pull one or two outta my rather extensive "art" collection. :grinpimp:
