Hello All,

I just traded in a 2022 Tundra for a GX460. My Tundra was lifted with 37s, but required some cutting to get to fit. With my current build I'd like to keep it simple and not have to cut any metal. I've been looking, but wanted to confirm if anyone is running the SCS F5 in the 17x8.5 -10 with a 285-70-17 without having to do a body mount chop? Or anything similar with the -10 offset. Thank you for your help!

With all due respect, just do the BMC. It's very common, doesn't cost very much and if you really expect to do any wheeling with larger tires, you'll need it. With the size tires you're talking, I'm pretty sure you'll have to do a BMC unless you're using it for mall runs and violin lessons.
It's kind of like getting your tonsils out, painless and worth doing, AND if you really need to, have an ice cream afterwards!

If you dont want to do the bmc, then stick with stock offset. Otherwise you will need to do a BMC or a smaller sized tire.

Thank you for the feedback. Trying to go at it without a BMC for now. Had reservations about cutting my truck previously, so trying to do as little trimming as possible. Thanks

I have SCS wheels at -10, granted with 35x12.5s but lots of rubbing. I did a full BM relocate. That offset will most certainly rub the BM and probably the fender well. Do you have aftermarket UCAs? That will help.

I have wheeled with my 285/70s. They only rub when mud gets built up, since I had previously pushed back my wheel liners. It's all in the offset.
