As some of you have previously read, I hate the GX550 and am sending it back.

I am going to swap it for a 2025 LX600 F-Sport, so what I want to do is put the same rims and tires from the GX550 on my 2023 LX600 F-Sport.

Does anyone know if this can be done easily, or if there is an even better rim and tire option for the F-Sport for snow and occasional off-roading, but mostly highway miles.

What I want is to get the 18" blacked out rims and a tire like the GX550 OT+ Toyo.

All help hugely appreciated!

There is an 18" option for the LX that you can order from your dealer. I believe it's the same wheel shown on the new LX700 Overtrail.

This should be the part number: 42611-60J00

Also the TRD Pro Sequoia wheels look good too:

I think I'm going with the OZ Racing Rally Desert 18" matte black rims and the Falken Wildpeak AT4W.

Yeah those are cool. I would run the +25 offset and 285/65/18 Falken AT3 like the trd pro sequoia uses if you aren’t off road a lot, or the Yokohama X-AT if you are.

Post pics when you get them. Curious to see how they look.

Stock is +55 offset and the OZ are +45 offset which to me seems just right. I am getting these for snow and rain and very limited off roading, so from my research the Falken Wildpeak AT4W are the best possible option for snow and rain, and they ride almost as quiet as the massive F-Sport rims.

This is the size of tire: 265/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT4W

Any reason you're going with that size tire? The 285/65R18 is the same diameter but almost an inch wider. I'm running those on a 47 offset rim and they fit fine. In fact, I am planning on going up to a 285/70R18 as I want to go bigger.

That is the size I was told would be best. Should I consider going an inch wider? Would that add anything to the ride, other than a little weight?

Those 2 I posted are lighter and wider but skinny is good for snow, as you mentioned snow.

There is also a couple SL rated 275/70/18 that are a tad taller but may be a good compromise.

What is the worst snow you experience?

It's NH snow, so it's thick and my driveway last year was icy and the stock tires slid around even with DAC enabled.

I definitely want SL rated, so the initial recommendation of 285/70R18 may be optimal?

Yeah those 2 are SL. Note the thread depth on the AT3 Falken though. Those 265 may work well for you too.

In that 265 size you have some options too. Yoko G015, Bridgestone Asent AT, Nokian NAT, Toyo AT3. Nothing against people using the Falken but they always run heavy.

I would run what this guy has in an SL tire that meets your requirements. To me that looks like the 25 offset and 265 wide tire. Judging off mine.

Disclaimers: that 285/65/18 Falken at3 was designed for Toyota with weight reduction in mind. So its abnormally light and really doesn’t look that aggressive. When I bought mine I spoke with Sumitumo America in Ca. about it, but I went a totally different direction on this particular 600 (will do something different on my 700 too).

I also have little experience with snow but those 265 tires I mentioned have the snowflake and mountain rating.

Personally would do the 265 on 25 offset or 285 on the 45 offset.

All right so after much back and forth here is the tire option for Standard Load (SL):

285/65R18 Falken Wildpeak AT4W SL

The 285/70R18 does not come in SL and the XL is too heavy duty and adds too much needless weight. The LX600 does not need more than an SL tire, and the SL option is much quieter.

Hope that saves someone some time.

So is the Yoko X-AT in that size.

That wheel comes in 25 or 45.

Figure out what that YouTuber is running.

I already placed my order and am not getting the Yoko or anything else.

I think my choice is the best of all possible worlds for my application, and although the LX600 comes standard with XL tires the SL is the better move.

Cool post pics. Thats the factory TRD Pro size that comes on this chassis so good move.
