The two germans

Hello everybody, hello Greg,

we like to take the opportunity to say hello, before we meet you next week at the Southern Cruiser Crawl in Arkansas.

We are the two 'germans' , father and son, 71 and 46 years old, Greg was talking about. We own our Land Cruiser BJ42 with 3B diesel engine since 1981 and will start next year with a frame off restauration. We have a second one from 1984 which will follow later.;)

We arrive in Dallas airport on Friday and will pick up our order of parts on Monday at CCOT in Rowlett. The highlight of our Land Cruiser Special Tour will be the Southern Cruiser Crawl and we are looking forward meeting you and your Cruisers.

Georg, I just red your posting and heared from Greg that you speaks german, even if you have to remember a lot of words again. We will make it.

We visited in June the First Land Cruiser J4 Meeting in France for 4 days. Roundabout 130 J4 Cruiser had been there. It was really great, but know we hope to beat that :)

Greg mentioned that there maybe even a opportunity to be a co-driver with one of you guys. It would be a pleasure for us.:bounce2::bounce2:

Thanks again Greg for the warm welcome on behalf of the Cotton Land Cruiser Club and your support.

Many greetings from Germany

Markus and Reinhold

Welcome and Howdy!

I live in DFW. Give me a call if you need any help.
I've got a 81 BJ42 as well. So, does your truck attract spiders?
LOL
Happy Trails! Nick

Great! Looking forward to it. :steer:

busted front inner axle seals can just keep on weeping... right?

Yes. Also, squirt some grease in there and it will slow down the weeping.
