I knew the measurements from the web and all, but was really surprised at the size inside - it's crazy (but in a good way).

no doubt, love the look of them

What is yalls opinion on the price? Low miles, no rust , dings on the bumpers, cracked leather with covers on the front, overall clean. Anything specific to look for on the lx's?

Hard to tell from the pictures, but would be a good deal with those miles. My only concern is it seems pretty well-worn for only 100K miles. If it is in terrible shape, you have to worry about odometer fraud.

Agreed. Both front seats are likely beat under those s***ty slip on covers. I'd rather have a truck in better shape with higher reported miles.

If you follow this up you'll want to check the tilt and telescope steering column motors as they tend to fade out over time so you might want to ensure they are still working (new motors run $220 each). You'll really want to make sure the height control/adaptive variable suspension is not only functional but the difference in damping is significant between position 1 (comfort) to position 4 (sport 2). Do the Low to High test counting the number of graduations the fluid changes in the AHC reservoir. This test is a general indicator to the health of the damper accumulators. New accumulators will return 14 graduations for optimum damping and Toyota deems they need replacement when they can only return 7, which is a pretty harsh ride. I've changed them out at 9 grads where damping was OK but not great. If the dampers are past their serviceable life you can score useable takeoffs for not much $ (I just gave a set away for the cost of shipping) or you can go the conventional suspension route.

So everyone is mostly hung up on the seat condition vs a low mileage rig with recent maintenance? Or am i missing something? At 16 years old its gonna have some wear. Try finding an 80 with original good condition leather front row.

Price seems high for year but im not seeing the overly well worn part, at least not on phone. Maybe the steering wheel but not as bad as several ive seen recently.

Price out some land cruiser heaven covers, subtract from your idea of good offer, give it a shot.

I just replaced my 97 FZJ80 with a 2003 LX470, so the 80 is up for sale. It's not a pretty truck, but it runs, has factory lockers, and mild build:
