Truly, enough thanks can't be given to the folks who "really" put this event together / make it happen / pull it off each year. That list includes, but is not limited to, Bodean, CT/DenMomDeb, Lash, Spivey, JRob/SRob, JTTMFT, Amanda, the overall BOD, etc. (sorry if I left any of the main playas out). It's just one of those events that anyone who experiences it one time waits for all year to come around again.......as Spivey said today: "It's like a big family reunion where everyone actually likes each other!"

Beno said he's been to events like this all over the country, but this is the best one he's attended. All you have to do is attend one year and you understand why.

Thanks again to all who worked hard again this year to make this the event it has become, and let it be known that we who benefit from your hard work realize it doesn't "just happen!"

Had a good time. Appreciate all the hard work that you guys do to put this on. It was good to put some faces with all the names. I appreciate @D'Animal coming out and teaching me the proper way to wind a recoil spring, you know, behind your back and blind-folded. I now have a whole new realm of special tools that I "need" for my collection.

I look forward to next year and hope that we have a rig to take out and enjoy more of the park on the next go around.

Drinking coffee and listening to the Crawl CD.
Great job! TN Wiz is one of my favorites on there.

Made it home last night about 6:45, making the best time ever from Hot Springs. I had a blast again this year. Thanks to the BOD of CLC for all your hard work! Also many thanks to all that helped me this week and the weeks leading up to the event with getting my truck together. Turns out Hope Fab and Hope Transport really came through with a truck that worked really well. I love my Land Cruiser family and can't wait to see all the pictures!!!!

Well another Crawl is in the books folks! The CLC bunch hit the beds when we got home! All of us were beat down! Thanks to the BOD and wives for the support. This event would be a mess without you guys. Thought the music was better than it's ever been! Everyone that hung around had a blast. Food was good and on-time. We'll order a little less dust next year tho! Again, thanks to all that attended! We hope to see y'all next year!

Had a blast again as usual. Good group of people to wheel with. Seems like there was a lot more carnage this year than in past years but it's all part of it. Didn't get too many pics just me going up the Rock Garden and Dusty's flop at the bottom of Vertical Challenge. Good times, good people and good beer.

What to say, what to say:

1. CLC is organized:

2. CLC has a lot of really cool folks in their club:

Tolleson, JROB, Bodean, Spivey, Lash, JT, all of the significant others, and other CLC folks who did such an incredible job with the logistics of an event this size.

3. Great old and new friends:

4. Most importantly: This wasnt a wheeling event... This was a family reunion from all around the country of some pretty cool folks.... And oh yeah....there was some wheeling, carnage, drunkenness, and even a marriage proposal!! (Brother Joe of Stayner clan fame).

Thanks to @Bomar @ntsaint for the cool relaxed run into the forest and the Blue Hole run... As well as all of the participants (@dnp Ryan Gonzalez, etc).

It was great meet old clients and new clients as well as chat with so many great folks from around the country.

5. Southern Cruiser Crawl should not be missed. It's the real deal. It's no joke. It's hardcore. Bring a spare liver (69664-69695 OEM part number). Most of all have fun and dig into the full on awesome.

Big shout out to Dominic from Valley Hybrids: The dude worked on everyone's junk, he welded, he grinded, he partied, he troubleshot electrical, he stayed up late and barely slept. Dude was on the ball.

And on the way home....

Thanks Toyota.

From my facebook page.

Once a year five of my best friends and I get together and throw a 4 day party for 250 of our best friends. We laugh, we play in the rocks, we stay up way to late, drink to much, eat to much, smoke to much and we get real dirty. We tear up trucks and spend so much money getting them ready and then repairing them.
This is always one of the best weeks of the year for me and I get to share it some of the best people in the world. Last night as I looked around at all the people before me I realized just how lucky I am.
My sister, Ginny and my nieces are in the crowd. One of my oldest friends,Will is there with his wife Dana and their daughter. There are so many people in this crowd that I could call and they would come to my aid or my family's aid.
I could list them all but I will forget some one and facebook doesn't forgive. You know who you are.
On stage with me is my brother in law JT, Jeff Murrah, James L. Roberts Jr., Lash Lacoste and Scott Spivey. Some of the best guys in the world to help put an event, crawl on some rocks or share a beer with.
Then to my right, sits my Piper girl and Debbie. Debbie was so much help to put this event on and lucky for me she loves doing it. Michaela is away at school or she would have been there. And in that moment, on a dusty Saturday night in the middle of nowhere and no cell phone signal, I know just how lucky my life is.
Never ever take for granted the blessings that are bestowed on you. Sometimes they are clean and quiet other times the are dusty and full of laughter, the smell of gear oil, cigars and beer.
Thanks for all the help working on my truck at 5pm on a Wednesday and at 3am on Friday...
Thanks Tony for the great pictures.
Love each and every one of you!

Well, a Jeep guy in our camp decided to night ride (alone) Saturday night with no winch. Ended up on Gorge off the Loop, which is marked a 3 on the sign and rated 4 on the map. Probably is a hard 4 or maybe 5 instead. Well, he rolled it. No winch and walked back to camp late in the AM.

Ray Towner and I used two winches to recover him on Sunday morning before loading up and heading out.
It was hard not to start drinking again after getting this out 2 hrs later as it was a steep and technical.

Used one winch to keep the front uphill and my winch to pull him over (both with snatch blocks off trees).
If you don't have a snatch block in your recovery bag, it's a must have.

Jeep broke his rear diff going up and also lost rear brakes. Probably more stuff broke but it's totaled for sure.
Ray winched him down the hill with snatch block to keep him under control.

We were on the road out of Hot Springs by 10:30 anyway.
Good news story as no one was injured but their pride and Jeep stories are always fun at the Crawl.
