OK Guys,

I wanted to start a sticky for people to communicate if they are going to surf and turf this year. Not sure if I will go to ST or PVD this year due to future work schedule but thought I would start a sticky for everyone to communicate on. Post up and let everyone know your plans. You can also work out a designated place for everyone to camp together in the dunes.

I'm headed up there in the roommates 100 series. Probably stay and party in SB the night before on the way up. My first year there so I'm open to any suggestions on where to camp or whatever. Def taking a bunch of surfboards and gear.

picked up my new truck yesterday, 96 fzj80, we have decided to spend the weekend in SLO, we will be there sat morning through the day and plan to do the pozo saloon run on sunday as well. We will be staying at a hotel as we have an infant. I will look for you guys there. Keep an eye out for me, here is a pic of the truck.

Nice Noah, you have a regular car lot now. Good looking truck. So, SD guys, where is everyone else camping? Shane? Dom? We are driving my roommates 100 up on Fri.....with no clue what to expect up there....so help a brother out with some reccomendations/

There will be a big SnT banner, where the Main Land Cruiser Town begins to populate.

Not sure if we will be up there first, but may be as we are leaving at 2 or 3 am Friday.

Your more then welcome to pitch camp by us. SD club rules apply. (see sig)

I'm bringing my car port 10x20 with three side enclousers. This is a great place to set up your cooking gear, and to use as a general wind block.

Make sure NOT to air down your tires before leaving the hard pack. One of the best parts of SnT is getting there early and watching people get their sand legs. OR you can drive down the beach on the hard pack until you see the big SnT banner, air down, and drive around camp looking for buddies. I will put a piece of paper on the car port window, so you all know what site I'm at, if I'm of in the dunes. I have a tendency to camp more on the windy ocean side of the LC Town. More wind but closer to the water, and less of everyone else's dust / fire smoke.

My buddy is bring his kids (who are mellow children). So if your towing porn stars with ya, may want to "pitch tent" else where.

edit: Tent Stakes are useless in the sand. Bring empty Sand Bags.

Twist my arm....

Okay, I think I'm in. Trying to get the 40 ready to make the trek, but worst case, I'll "borrow" the wife's 4Runner to make the trip. I've heard so much good stuff about Pismo, and there are over 335 on the "Mob List" already, so I guess I'll make the sacrifice of having to camp on the beach and hang with a bunch of Cruiser Legends for the weekend. Looking forward to it and meeting everyone, and getting some ideas on what to do to my 40. Plus, I need to have my 4-year old son catch Cruiser Fever at an early age. I think we are going to head up Fri. afternoon around 1 p.m. (preschool lets out for the weekend) from North County if anyone wants to caravan.

Sweet Shane, thanks! Gonna be in roommates black 100 has a grill guards on front and tail lights. Probab going to have boards on top as well. I will look for your sign. Gonna be fun.
