New Off Road Tear Drop trailer from Bob, the intrepid builder...
Here is the frame layout for the new 35gal water tank. The tank will be surrounded by 2X6 .120 wall steel. It will also have a skidplate over it. Unfortunately the axle and skidplate will have to be removed to work on or replace the tank, but the chances of that ever needing to be done are slight. No place to rub, no place to have contact with rocks. It will raise the trailer 1in higher overall. It also makes the trailer about 1/2in wider. Weight will go up about 40 pounds is my guess. I need to pick up some 4x4 steel for the axle ramps and box, will do that this afternoon after riding. I should be able to work on it tomorrow and Friday, but have an offroad run scheduled in Banning with my trailer. This trailer is being made for a late-February delivery, so I will take my time on it.
Back in the saddle again, and the bike saddle Doug and Ace!!!! Riding almost every day, with a lot of climbing, the new bike is paradise!!! - Bob

Nice!!

A new build....just in time for cold weather!

Looks great Bob, looking forward to following this one out the door!!

This one does not leave until late February, so it will be a slow build with a lot of pictures.

Many changes to provide the best off road tear drop on the market.

These are goals. Solar panel carried on inside of back door, 41 gallons of water on board, dual 255 amp hour batteries, 600 watt windmill, propex propane heater, 10 foot box, skid plates, out door TV jack, lites on both sides, speakers on both sides, dual Fox Wing awnings, larger grey water tank.

After some trials Bob is up and building again...

Posting some new build pics for Bob...
