Custom built pop up and/or pop out off road, expedition overland trailer built in 2011 with independent suspensions. 3500 lbs Dexter hubs with electric and parking brake. Independent axle with 6 bolt hub for 80 series Land Cruiser wheels and 5 bolt hub adaptor for 100 series Land Cruiser wheels with 295/75/16 BF KM tires. Spare tire carrier and 2 x 6 gal water tank underneath.
OAL trailer is 11 ft L x 6ft W x 81" H, black powder coated frame .
12 gauge stainless steel water proof front storage box (60" W x 30 L) with fuse box, battery and solar charge controller- add solar panels, 110V inverter to your usage requirements. 12v/1.5 gpm on demand pump for shower/ sink setup ( I used this setup for 70 campers hot shower).
Camper box is 14 gauge galvanized powder coated hammer gray (7ft L x 5ft W x 5.5ft H- popup to 6 or 7 ft high. 2x 7 ft L bench with storage inside and dinette table turn into queen bed platform. All 4" thick vinyl covered cushions for ease of cleaning and setup preferences. Cushions can be left out for more storage inside. Bed /dinette plywood platform inside can be removed for more storage like bikes, kayaks, gears.....
To be finish: Popup from front or rear or straight up. 2 side popout is 2ft W x 7ft L and front popout is 3ft L x 5ft W- canvas cover to finish for 4 people use or use as is(no popout) for 2 people. Plywood to be varnished for durability or carpeted for add'l cushion.
Trailer has been used 2x with about 1000 miles. Kids lost interest so I've been solo camp in my cruiser. Trailer was built to be theft proof, bear proof with 14 g powder coat skin lined with 3/4" plywood. Dry weight is 1500 lbs.
