I just opened up the new Jan edition to Off-road and there are modified Tacos and other buggies with 6 pages of pictures the title is Crawling with Toys Wheeling in Florence Juction. Very cool write up. It seems I have either wheeled with or seen some of these rigs. Who knows these guys
thanks
Don

Was the author Jay Kopyczinski (sp?)

He's alright for a Nissan guy...;)

I'm turning into a relic who can only remember the old days .
Howdy! Your not alone. I'm turning into a relic that's too cheap to buy all the goofy 4x4 mags, so I just read them in the grocery while the wife shops. Meanwhile, our hero, Jay has been a busy boy. He also has a story with pix in the December 07 issue of OFF ROAD. I suppose he will be editor in chief next year! John

Yeah I remember he had a badass Toyota mini... custom flatbed, dual cases, all kinds of wild suspension tricks, he wheeled the heck outta that rig. Then sold it all off in pieces to build a very well-built blue buggy with not much Toyota in it any more. Wheeled great. I'm surprised to hear he sold it. One more Toyota guy hanging it up I guess...
