I am not pretending to be Darin ....

I have a good friend who is a certified 4WD and Off Highway Trainer from the Atlanta area who has trained several military units, the Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Team as a well as expats in the Middle East working for various contractors (military and civilian). He knows of this company and has spoken relatively highly of them.

I hope that they have obtained the appropriate USDA-FS permits ....

I return you to you wait for Darin's response .....

Yes I know about it. That is the land i have been helping clear up there. Which is what the 31st is for. To clear more property for them. If you look behind Scott's barn across from the outpost you will see an 80 series and a pick up truck. That is theirs.

Ah, I didn't realize the two were one in the same. I thought they were expanding, and OEX was an additional plot of land.

Last year I tried to get a group of us together to get some training up at the Va location. May be a little easier now that they'll be in the area. I'd love to get some training that way to take one of their Iceland or Northern Canada expedition trips...

Darin and Al, you think they'd be up for joining us at Logan's Run?

Maybe a short intro lesson tips and tricks, sponsorship :D?

I can contact them if you wish

Confused. Go figure. So the work day on the 31st if to help clear land for a for profit company? On public lands?

Darin can you explain please? Thank you and I'm sure I'm just off track.

It is private property yes. But, it is a place that i know i am welcome to wheel, just as the others that volunteer to work are. The old back scratching thing here.

Yes this company will use it, but so are others like us when me when we ask to.

I work there cause he is a good friend that is putting this together. Anyone else do what they want to. It is a volunteer thing. That is all. Want to play on a new trail then come on out. Want to help build new trails then come on out.

so if I can make it out on the 31st, what tools should I bring? chainsaws? chains? (ryan do you still have my green one? and the other?)
