OEM Soft Top Repair

Would appreciate some advice from the club. I ripped a hole in my brand new Bimini top from TrollHole at last years CMCC and I'm just now getting around to trying to fix it. I found someone who is willing to patch it but has asked me what type of thread they should use and where can they get it. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

BTW, spoke with Dallas....seems like a good guy. He is going to come look at the 40 when I bring it to Ryan's to do an exact color match before ordering paint.

A nylon automotive thread is best. I can't recall what size we used in the past.
