If I remove my existing Roof Rack parts, will a rack from an 03-07 fit?

Bump?

All 98-07 LCs and LXs have the same eight mounting points on the roof. Some are hidden under the gutter trim depending on what style rack was originally mounted (four or six mounting feet).

If necessary, pulling off the trim will expose all the mounting points and not cause any issues. The trim is cosmetic only.

Thanks for the reply and confirmation! Greatly appreciated!

Thank you for confirming this information.

I want to take the roof rack off my 2003 LC (four damaged caps and replacements are expensive) and replace it with one from a stripped 2000 LC.

My issue is most of the bolts/washers are not reusable and the gutter trim was bent upon removing the roof rack from the 2000 LC.

I am seeking advice on the best way to move forward. Something tells me it might be better to just bite the bullet and buy the 2003 caps. Also, I am not eager to purchase another rack.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your input. Weight necessarily is not the issue. It is more about appearance. I like the 2000 oem rack much better but am worried about creating a mess if I attempt to relocate it to the 2003. I am a novice in this area!
Most advice is to find an aftermarket rack but really don't want to go that route.
Again, I appreciate your input.
