I've got a 99LC...no AHC...240k...wanna replace rear springs and shocks...OEM Springs come in the "standard" 486mm R/492mm L -OR- "optional" 492mm R/504mmL. Has anyone tried these "optional" OEM springs?

I went with OME 2865's. They are 1.5" Medium load. Couldn't be happier. I no longer hit the bump stop or sag with all rows having passengers and carrying cargo on roof. They are also still soft enough to have a nice comfy ride.

Thought i'd add an option. :)

Bucfl- I have considered that option too...but had heard the OME stuff gave you a pretty firm ride...although some have said it is the OME shocks that are the problem more than the springs...hmmm...tough call.

Just put the OME (not OEM) 2865's on the rear of my '98 along with the OME torsion bars. Wish I had done it years ago, yes the ride is more firm and you feel more on dirt road but the rig handles tremendously better... it drives and feels more like a LC should. Less Cadillac, more truck. Rig has Bilstein HD shocks, didn't see a need to change them.

I heard the same, so i didnt buy OME Shock. I will be putting on OEM shocks.
