Hello all. I am getting ready to finally starting the much needed maintenance on my new to me 99 hundy and I am trying to see which seals/gaskets I need to order from my dealer. I have searched and have gotten some numbers, but I want to make sure once I start disassembly I have all correct parts.. I am not replacing any bearings, just doing a cv boot replacement and bearing repack... Thanks in advance.... Here's the oem part #'s I have... Any other parts I need?
Boot kits 04427-60120 x2
Lock washer 90215-42025 x2
Hub Oil seal 90311-70011 x2
Drive Flange Gasket 43422-60070 x2

Snap rings...have 2 thicknesses each on hand.

I also have a couple dust caps on hand...just in case you have a stubborn removal.

Depending on age &/or corrosion you may need the inner flange type hub seal...and unlike the above parts these are not cheap so you may want to wait 'till you're in there...

Thanks for response.... Im a bit confused though... Are you saying that hundys came with different hub oil seals? I did not see any other seals gaskets in the hub assembly.. there was some in the knuckle assembly which I am not taking apart just moving out the way to get to cv's... Am I missing something..?

See attached doc and red circled part for the "knuckle dust shield" and "knuckle dust shield gasket" part I referenced. One of the times I pulled my front axle apart for clean and lube I found the rubber seal portion of the same part cracked and not in good shape. IIRC its about a $50+ part so tough to justify having 2 (mirrored pair) in the spare parts pile. But just wanted you to be aware of it just the same...

Also of note since its easy to miss: Before you insert the CV shaft assembly through the hub/knuckle assembly be sure to clean and re-grease the needle bearing found inside the knuckle assembly.

Ok gotcha ya ... Thank you sir. Well as you mentioned I won't know until the tear down process. I have never really torn down a IFS cruiser before, although hub assembly is almsot identical to the solid axle 40,60,80's I have tore down in the past..... What type of grease should be used in the needle bearing found on the knuckle assembly-and do I have to replace any seal/gasket inorder to get to needle bearing? Sorry for all the questions, I guess I better bring out the fsm too... thanks....

I use #1 red syn grease on the needle bearing...you don't need or want thicker typically for needle bearings and the mating portion of the CV shaft. Whereas I use #2 for the hub/wheel roller bearings.

Once you remove the CV shaft from the steering knuckle you will be able to see the needle bearing from the backside of the steering knuckle...it's recessed a couple inches IIRC. No additional gasket or seal specific to the needle bearing. It's just easy to miss if you aren't aware it's there,
