hey guys I'm not one for these types of threads, and I know it's typically in poor taste, but other than trolling the classifieds I don't have much to go on. So with that being said, this will be my first and last "what's it worth thread"

How much are 5 OEM Chrome FJ60 rims worth? They are in good shape, with little to no pitting.

Tires on them are "meh". Two are crap, Two are great (80% tread) and the spare is just a skinny.

I'm new to this entire experience selling parts online and I'd just appreciate a good baseline. Rather figure out how to sell them here than to some jamoke on Craigslist

There was a set of five on ebay selling / asking $400.
Yours look pretty good! Post em up on classies here, help a muddr out.

Going to have better luck selling(shipping ) without the tires on them.

Very good looking set of wheels.

But not sure what they are worth, $300 is my guess if selling on mud.

Before you say you will ship, get a price to ship....or you may screw yourself.

Super clean rims like yours - ~$400. Nice rims with the usual minor rust (in the low spot where the truck was parked) - $250. Shipping adds a whole other dimension I won't address.

I just paid $200 + shipping for a minor rust set of 5. I would have paid $400 for yours without hesitation. Very clean.

I personally have a stock 62 with a list and the OEM chromes look best in my opinion. Slap a set of 33x10.5x15 KO2s and you are all set.

I love my KO2's, and I'm all about the chrome. The only thing is that the winters up here are salty and harsh on the chrome wheels, and it's almost a shame to see them dissolve right before my eyes ;)

I got a set of tracker 8 rims that look sweet, but the OEM wheels are mighty nice

You guys are almost making me regret trying to get rid of them, are there any reasons you kept them? It's becoming kinda hard to find tires that fit the rim

I run those wheels on my '71 and '76 FJ40s because I like the way they look. I found out I could no longer get the BFG 33X9.50R15 ATs (tall skinny tires) for my FJ60s, so I bought 5 new 70-Series Land Cruiser wheels from Toyota for my '86 FJ60 project and mounted BFG 235/85R16 ATs. The wheels look similar to the FJ60/62 chrome spoke wheels. The largest tires I plan on running on my FJ40s are BFG 30X9.50R15 ATs, so far they're still readily available.

well I don't get rid of much and just seem to add more....so may be the wrong person to ask.

but...what if you get another 60 or 62? and want that stock look?
they don't make them anymore.
they are OEM goodness
they do work very nice on 40 series.....I ran them
you can stuff a 33z10.5x15 on them, most chain stores wont anymore but they work just fine(better with a MT than a AT)
I still have 16(in new to mid life) 33x9.5x15's.......so again....might not the right person to answer ;)

I have the same affliction - 5 years ago a co-worker and I were talking about Toyotas and he mentioned that his son was looking for some wheels for his 4WD pickup before he headed to college. I said I had some I could give him and checked my "inventory". It turns out I had 29 FJ60/62 chrome spoke wheels, so I gave him 4. Now that I've got the new wheels for the '86 FJ60, it looks like I'll have about 10 extra. Not quite as many 33X9.50s as Landpimp.

Hoarding sickness....

Stock up on those 15" tires.... Check to be sure you have enough, then get moar. Keep em out of the sun...

Stock up on those chrome wheels.... Check.... :)

Someone will appreciate getting those rims. I have a set that is not any where near as clean as those and I'm keeping them. Hands down best looking rim on 80s era toyota 4x4s - mini trucks to 62s IMHO. True, tire selection for 15's isn't what it used to be, but they'll never go away completely. I turned down 100 bucks for my set and yours are easily 4x better than mine.

I got $400 for mine a few years back. Tires were BFG AT 33's and had a lot of tread left. I regret selling them but I needed to clean up the garage.
