Does anyone know what the original oem pads front/rear were made out of? Are they ceramic, semi metallic, organic? Just curious

I was told OE on my 02 Lex was organic.
...My point is that I have heard that organic pads wear extremely quickly, and my experience is no anomaly - 1. the fact that they were the rear brakes (taking at most 25% of the total stopping power, and 2. They wore out in LESS than 2 yrs (about 23 months).
This seems like excessive wear. We'll see how I fare this time around...
My "oe's" came with wear indicators....The strange part is that 2 yrs ago I did the rear brakes in my LX - new pads/rotors (i used "oe organic" according to the supplier). As of 2 days ago they were completely worn out, to the point of grinding metal on metal. There was no warning before they started grinding - so replaced the next day.
PO replaced my LX's front pads at 70K, with 140K now she's ready for new pads. The rear's were done at 50K, I did them at 100K, and I'll replace again when I do the fronts. My 100 eats rear brakes...
Which may be how the system proportions braking power front-to-rear. From what I've seen here, the rear's going before the front's is relatively normal.Through my reading of old threads regarding brakes, it seems that many experience faster rear pad wear.
