OEM battery still a good option?

It's fine but it's not an original Panasonic. Just get one where you can easily warranty it. Costco comes to mind. Probably cheaper than the Toyota one too.

With battery manufacturers buying each other out in recent years is the OEM battery from Toyota still a good option? I'm just running a single battery. No fridge no crazy accessories.

The 84 month OEM is a good value and easy to install, assuming you have OEM now. If you want more info, run some searches on the forum because there are LOTS of battery threads.

if you go with a factory battery the warranty is free replacement up to 18 moths and proration after that. and itll be a national warranty so easy enough to exchange if you have to

OEM is 2 years full replacement and rest (6 years) prorated.
Walmart has 3 years full replacement and 2 years prorated.
I have a 24 F battery installed into my 100.

Where do you live? I the desert southwest, batteries are a two-year lifespan, consumable item...

I think most dealers get their batteries from interstate. The 84 month at the dealer will be pro-rated of course.
