OEM Aux. Fuel Tank Gauge

Thats the same setup the HZJ105R i took for a spin had. When running on the main tank the gauge shows the level of that tank. When the 'Subtank' button is pushed, a small 'Sub' illuminates on the fuel gauge, while at the same time the gauge shows the level of the subtank.

If i was installing a subtank into a 100/105 that was not originally equipped with one i would source the correct Fuel/Volt gauge - just to finish it of.

That's HOT. Talk about a cool non U.S. part. A "Sub" light on the cluster. I'm not savvy enough electronically to figure it out, but I'm sure there are a number of guys who are. Thank you for that information.

J,

We didn't get the fuel tank lamp on our dash displays. However, for what ever reason , we do have the diesel air filter insignia/lamp which is what I am using for my aux tank lamp.

Thanks Dan. I was speaking if I sourced a cluster from David. I didn't think we had any extra displays at all. I think it would be easier to use your lamp instead of swapping in a non U.S. cluster.

Although that cluster would be the Coup d'etat in an aux set-up.

Anyone source out parts for installation of the OEM Toyota sub tank for the 100? Going to be making some longer trips in mine next year and I'd love to not have to stop every 250 miles.
