I have a 2004 GX with katie SS stock and the rear right height leveling system. I did a lift, some suspension, and the rear spring conversion. Every once in a while when I’m doing some off routing, I would like a temporary extra few inches of lift or take out the ‘sag’ to avoid some obstacles. The OEM air pump is still sitting in place.

I am toying with the idea of potentially adding some mounts, air shocks, and a cabin switch so that I can ‘pump it up’ take some of the natural sag out of the suspension and add a little height in rare circumstances.

It would also be nice to take some sag out when I’m offroad with 1000 pounds of buddies who are along for the ride or with heavy gear in the back. I went offroading with 3 very burly buddies and a cooler in the GX a while back. It was quite noticeable that the whole vehicle (especially the rear) had dropped a few inches and I was hitting things that I would normally have no problem clearing

Has anyone done anything like this?
